Project Curation & Production

Akiko Utsumi, For lots of lost windows, 2006, Echigo-Tsumari Art Field, Japan

With a MA Art Curatorship and having held curatorial positions at Artbank and The Potter Museum of Art, I use this background to curate and produce projects that are largely focused on international engagement, cross-cultural exchange and the intersection between arts and non-arts fields.

I have curated and produced projects for the Setouchi and Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennales in Japan, a Roving Residency and subsequent projects for renowned interdisciplinary artist Nikhil Chopra, as well as the Tapestry Design Prize, celebrating the intersection between architecture, design and weaving.
